In 2010 we were just a little jot, a twinkle in the eye. Then, in April 2011, the jot became Austin & Co. In 2012, we moved to larger premises in a prime location in Great Malvern, and in 2014, we were rewarded for our work by being the winner of the Best Greeting Card Newcomer at the industry RETAS awards.  And in 2021, we were awarded the RETAS for the Best Greeting Card Retailer (Wales & Midlands).

Our products are a perfect marriage of form and function and will brighten up any home, classroom or workplace. Why is this important? Because we believe that nice things help make for nice days. 

​

We don't have plans to take over the world but we do have plans to bring a little more stationery joy to Great Malvern in the coming months and to a wider audience through internet sales over the coming years.  

 

ACTIVITIES

Our cards, wrap, pens and stationery are carefully selected for their beauty, individuality, quality and, of course, price. Many items at Austin & Co are not generally found on the High Street, we source the majority of our products from small British designers and always look for new products to compliment our existing range.

Once inside our small but beautifully stocked shop you’ll find a range of cards, gifts and stationery to suit everyday and special occasions. Whether you’re looking for that special card to show you care, beautiful invitations and pens, or just need some writing paper, you’ll find what you’re looking for at Austin & Co.

HISTORY

​

Austin & Co was founded in 2011 and is owned in its entirety by Sean Austin. Previous to retail, Sean’s background was in corporate librarianship and business research, including assignments to many blue chip companies including Top 50 ranked law firms, Mars Confectionery, and in the marketing department at the Head Office of the UK’s largest stationery retailer, WHSmith.

His expertise for retail research has not been left behind. In fact it was instrumental in deciding to launch Austin & Co, and research is involved in every facet of the current shop, from stock selection through to marketing initiatives.
